Its Beginning To Look Alot Like Christmas!

The trees are up, the tinsel is out and the lights are twinkling everywhere. How is it December already?

So its that time of year again where everything is festive and Christmassy! December being one of my favourite months has just flown by already, with it being only 2 more weeks until the big day. I have recently updated the content on my YouTube channel (here) and you may find that in one of those videos I spoke about telling more people about my channel. I also spoke about doing Vlogmas this year (videoing your daily life everyday until Christmas eve) which in the end I chose not to do.

The reason being, I am currently still working full time and did not want to dedicate time I didn't actually have into filming and editing videos everyday. As much as I love Christmas I wouldn't want to post content I myself am not happy with, let alone my subscribers. So I have chosen to take a step back this year and just enjoy everyone else's videos.

On the 1st December I pulled out my camera and actually filmed day one of Vlogmas only to then make the decision I wouldn't be carrying on. So I thought I would make this post to share some of my festive snaps whilst putting up my Christmas tree. This years colour scheme for my Christmas tree was Gold, Copper and Black. I thought it was going to be abit risky using darker colours on a white Christmas tree this year but overall I was very happy with the outcome and I love my little tree! I also thought it was only right that I went all out and put some matching tinsel on to top it all off!

What are your favourite colour schemes for Christmas trees?
Do let me know in the comments!

Lots of love,
Mischa

DENIM & FRILLS IN LISBON.

Hello Lovelies,
So recently I sent myself off on a little mini break away to the wonderful city of Lisbon. It was the cutest little city with the most beautiful, colourful buildings and houses and the most amazing architecture I've ever seen. I thought I would share one of my favourite outfits from a day out of travelling around the city.

Firstly, I picked out this super cute off the shoulder/bardot style denim top from BooHoo I have recently been loving the off the shoulder style and thought this top paired with a pair of frayed black denim shorts would look perfect together. Its flowy arm detail made it super comfortable to wear throughout and day and kept me cool in the heat. I also love the way this top is longer at the back and shorter at the front it gave off a really flattering look. I also could not forget to pair this outfit with a pair of sunglasses I went for a classic 'aviator' style.

To carry off this outfit I also paired it with a floppy black hat which went perfectly with my black denim shorts and shoes, although I originally planned to wear a 'Fedora' styled hat because I think they suit my small head/face shape better! BooHoo accidentally sent me the wrong style hat but of course it had to match as I always have to colour coordinate so I was happy with it in the end!

When it came to deciding what style of shoes to wear I had the ten minute battle with myself trying to decide if I should go with the prettiest pair of shoes (which are usually the most painful) or the comfortable pair! In the end I made the decision to go with the pair that looked the best with my outfit, they lasted most of the day without causing me pain which I was happy with and also the black and gold lace up detail was my fave.

I paired this whole outfit with a cute little black side bag from good old trusty Primark! I take this bag everywhere and it is such a handy little size to take travelling or on holiday with you as it is not to big or small, I also think it looks more expensive than it actually was!

I hope you have enjoyed reading this blog post, I have enjoyed making more cute little outfit posts and I will continue to make these throughout the year in my monthly 'style diary.'
Thank you for reading,

Mischa

STYLE DIARY | MAY

Hello my lovelies,
Where has the year gone? Well we have currently made our way into Spring and all the grey and miserable clouds have decided to disappear and let some sunshine through for us!
I have decided to take to my blog and start something new which is going to be a monthly 'Style Diary'. Every month I will be posting about my favourite outfits of that month and all the little details to go with it!

As I live in Manchester, you may or may not be aware that the weather changes in an instant, it can be sunny and hot one minute and completely cold and freezing the next. Spring is not one of my favourite fashion seasons as the weather struggles to make its mind up and well that makes two of us because so do I. Recently I have been looking forward to Summer so I can really start to embrace the warmer months and of course the new trends in line for Summer. I am your typical cosy, warm weather girl who loves a big oversized jumper, cosy capes, snug scarves and of course a good pair of winter boots! But this year I have been looking forward to some sunshine so I can finally start fresh with my wardrobe and have some fun!

Now as your reading this blog post I am sure most of you are thinking 'WHY on earth is she wearing a jumper in spring?' For months now I have been crushing majorly over a brand called 'hotmess clothing'. This brand is owned and designed by a lovely young lady who works incredibly hard and her designs are to die for. I purchased this Taupe Boyfriend Jumper and paired it with a pair of black skinny fit leggings and open toe ankle boots. As the weather is slowly transitioning there was still a slight cold breeze which made wearing this jumper bearable and actually felt super comfortable as it is made from wool it was very light to wear and kept me cool throughout the day.

Recently, I have started loving building up my accessories collection. I purchased these gorgeous sunnies from H&M they have a gorgeous tortoise shell design on the sides and have a duo chrome colour on the lense. This made my outfit much more Spring themed and made me feel ready for Summer!

To finish my outfit off I wore my gorgeous Michael Kors gold plated Bradshaw watch which is always a handy and ideal match to any outfit I put together.

And of course how can I forget about my beautiful new purchase? I recently made a little bit of a naughty purchase and bought this Louis Vuitton 'Neverfull' bag. This bag sums my life up perfectly when it comes to having a handbag, it is never full enough as I am the type of girl who literally travels around with the world in her bag what female doesn't?!
I purchased this bag in the GM size, which is the biggest size sold. It simply matches any outfit and has the most amazing quality.

High End Webshop Wants

(Here)
(Here)

Recently, whilst scrolling through the internet I came across this pair from Valentino. Immediately, the small cross body rock stud bag caught my eye, its everything I love combined into one product! From its rock studs, to its gold studded detailing, and nude colour I instantly just fell in love.
Combined with this amazing pair of ballerina flats, what more could your average girly girl want? I have been crushing over this pair of shoes for a long time, which one will I end up with I wonder..?

What are your current higher end webstore wants?
I would love to know!

Lots of love,
Mischa

ASOS Want List | Winter 2015

So this year, my ASOS want list has got bigger and bigger as the weeks go by.. over the past few weeks my basket has gathered these beautiful items!
Some of these items caught my eye almost straight away especially the Khaki Cape Jumper it just screams *WINTER* at me!
My saved items basket was originally full of even more clothing items and even some shoes but I picked out my favourite pieces to show you what I think my must haves are for this winter!

ASOS Roll Neck Swing Dress/ Terracotta - This dress is just gorgeous! The roll neck and long sleeves is also perfect for the cold weather coming up, wearing this casual with a scarf and a coat or even with a leather jacket is perfect for going out or even dressing it up with some lovely strappy heels!

ASOS Santa Baby Christmas Pyjama Set - Now what would the festive season be without the perfect pair of pyjamas? These are the ones I spotted recently which I think will be included in my yearly routine of buying a pair for christmas eve! The colours are gorgeous and the leggings definitely caught my eye!

ASOS Cape/ Khaki - This is one of my favourites on my list as the colour is so festive and the whole design which is a cape is just my current fave!

Misguided Striped Roll Neck Dress - When I seen that ASOS stocked Misguided clothing I was a little overjoyed, not just because of the beautiful clothes but because it means you can order something without it constantly being out of stock on the Misguided website! Anyway I spotted this cosy stripy dress and I just instantly wanted it, I think paired with some thigh/knee high boots it would look very wintery and festive!

ASOS High Neck Sweatshirt/Nude - This sweatshirt has been on my want list for a while now and I haven't seemed to purchase it! It comes in a range of different colours but this pinky nude colour stood out for me its high neck, long sleeves and slouchy shape makes it look super cosy!

ASOS Kick It Off Over The Knee Boots - The winter season definitely calls for some thigh highs who does not love these?! Not to mention how warm they would keep your legs I also think they add a wintery feeling to each outfit and can be worn casual or dressy!

Hope you all enjoyed seeing all the things I'm currently wanting! Hopefully some of these items make their way under my christmas tree!

Whats on your want list for winter?

Drugstore Beauty Buys

Hola,
Todays blog post is just a small one and it will be on a few of the things I have recently picked up from the drugstore. When I went into Superdrug and actually spent a good while in there I was actually shocked to discover many products that I hadn't seen before which were just so worth the money!

One of the brands I completely hadn't noticed before was Makeup Revolution London. For me this brand is not raved about enough. The quality of the products is unreal and for the prices it is definitely so affordable. I was on the hunt for a warm toned palette and after seeing MAC's warm toned palette for £65 I just couldn't spend that amount of money on it at this time! So I went into Superdrug and landed myself with this gorgeous palette from Makeup Revolution.

Makeup Revolution London Ultra Professional Eyeshadow Palette/Flawless - RRP £8.00
Well when I saw this palette it answered all my prayers as I was on the hunt for a palette which had lots of warm tones in but also had some shimmery colours in too because what is a perfect palette without some glitter and shimmer? This palette has colours in that would suit all skin tones considering my own skin tone is very warm itself. For the price this retails at I would say it is well and truly worth it. The colours are highly pigmented on their own and also show up even more pigmented when a fixing spray is applied. These eyeshadows also last a long time which is perfect for day and night time looks. Makeup Revolution also stock many different palettes, they have a warm neutral palette similar to the one above but in a Matte version which I wanted to pick up but I had already ordered a Morphe Brushes palette which I will be reviewing on here later this week!

Makeup Revolution London Vivid Baked Bronzer / Golden Days - RRP £3.00
Whilst looking on the same counter, I came across the bronzers and highlighters which I may say so myself are also amazing! I picked up this gorgeous bronzer in the shade Golden Days, these bronzers are a very close dupe to MAC's mineral skin finishes and are much more cheaper. This bronzer applied to my shade skin tone came up as a lovely subtle highlight as its colour isn't pigmented it did not show up as a bronzer on me but I got a good use out of it for a finish to the skin after contouring. This would also match other fair to medium skin tones as a bronzer.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Lash Multiplying Mascara - RRP £7.99
So after using Benefits Roller Lash every day for months on end I thought it was time I looked for a new mascara, as a YouTuber also I am always seeing people rave about different products and well this is one of them.. I have tried this mascara a few times since buying it and well my answer is I am not too sure it does live up to its expectations for me. I personally don't think I have used it enough to give a full honest opinion. It is great for intensifying the eye lashes and also gives lots of volume. If you have been a Roller Lash fan like myself you will not like how much product comes out on the wand which was a big no no for me. Other than this, this mascara gets a 7/10 from me until I have used it enough but at the same time is worth the price and is handy to have in your mascara collection!

I hope you enjoyed todays post!

Lots of Love,
Mischa

Review:The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil

The Body Shop Silky Cleansing Oil - RRP £10.00

Hello again lovelies,
So this weekend I was in town and on the prowl for a new cleanser which also removes my make up. I have been using the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water which is also great but it just wasn't doing it for me any more. Since using it I began to notice it did not remove stubborn make up, I started noticing this when it wouldn't remove my mascara. My eyelashes would be very sticky and stuck together after using it to get my mascara off not to mention using about 5000000 cotton pads! Ok that was an exaggeration.. but generally using more than a couple of them.

So I had seen a few people using this cleansing oil, and I was a tad bit frightened to use a cleansing oil at first as my skin is naturally oily. I used this cleanser for the first time this weekend and would definitely recommend this range from the body shop its worth every penny.

What are your favourite cleansing products?
